Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply when you book a website, a web app or a quote with Build It For Me. Please read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, email support@capefieldacademy.com.
1. Who we are
Build It For Me (“we”, “us”) is a service of Capefield Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14103443), registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. “You” means the person or organisation booking a service. Support: support@capefieldacademy.com. Privacy: privacy@capefieldacademy.com.
2. What we provide
We offer three services: a fixed-price Website (£1,200 / $1,500 build) of up to 5 pages including the home page, mobile-friendly, with a contact form and basic SEO; Web Apps from £4,500 / $5,500; and Custom Quotes. The template privacy, terms and cookie pages supplied with a Website do not count towards the page limit. The scope of each project is set by your submitted intake form and the published service description. Anything not listed is out of scope and can be added as a separately priced request.
3. Your brief
The intake form you submit is the agreed brief for your project, and we build from it. You confirm that the business information you give us is accurate. We are not responsible for inaccurate or misleading content you provide.
4. A written process
We work in writing: through your intake form, your client dashboard and email. We do not hold scheduled calls, video calls or in-person meetings. You can also message us on WhatsApp. By submitting an intake form, you agree to this way of working.
5. Prices and payment
Website fees (£1,440 / $1,800, or £1,500 / $1,875 with the optional domain and email add-on) are paid in full at the end of the intake form, before the build begins. Web App fees are paid in full at the end of the intake form where a fixed price is shown on screen. For projects routed to a quote, and for Custom Quotes, the fee is paid in full when you accept the quote in your dashboard.
Our prices are fixed lists in pounds sterling (GBP) and US dollars (USD), not currency conversions. Each project is charged in the currency shown at checkout. Once your account has made its first payment, all later charges for that account, including renewals, are in the same currency. Your build price is fixed at checkout and does not change during the build.
6. Your cooling-off right
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a right to cancel within 14 days. When you tick the cooling-off acknowledgement in the intake form, you ask us to begin work immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the service has begun. If work has begun, the build fee is not refundable except where we are unable to deliver (see clause 10).
7. Delivery
Website: 14 days from a completed intake form and payment. Web App: typically 4–12 weeks, confirmed after payment (or in the quote, for quoted builds). Timelines start once we have everything we need. Missing content, late replies or changes to scope extend the delivery date accordingly.
8. Revisions and changes
Your project is delivered ready to go live, based on your brief. Websites come with an admin panel so you can manage day-to-day content yourself. Larger structural changes after delivery, such as new pages beyond your package or a redesign, are separate paid requests, quoted individually.
9. Hosting and renewals
Websites are hosted by us on shared infrastructure; hosting is required and self-hosting is not available. Website hosting renews automatically each year at £240 / $300 from year 2 (£300 / $375 a year where the domain and email add-on is included). Before each renewal, we send a reminder at least 28 days in advance confirming the amount and date. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your dashboard, without penalty. Auto-renewal is set up with your explicit consent at purchase.
Web App hosting is separate from the build fee. You can take a full handover and host it yourself, with no ongoing fee to us, or choose managed hosting. Managed hosting is a subscription you start from your dashboard at the price and interval (monthly or yearly) confirmed at delivery. It renews automatically until you cancel it from your billing page. Yearly billing is exactly twelve times the monthly price.
10. Cancellation and refunds
Before the build begins (and within the cooling-off period for consumers who have not waived it): a full refund of the build fee, minus a £25 / $30 administrative fee for payment processing costs and administrative time. Once the build is in progress: no refund. Delivered projects: no refund. Hosting: you can cancel at any time; fees already paid for the current hosting period are not refunded. If we find after starting that we cannot deliver your project as agreed, we refund the build fee in full and explain why.
11. Ownership and intellectual property
Websites: you own your content. Capefield Ltd owns the underlying code, templates, design system and infrastructure. Web Apps with a full handover: ownership of the source code transfers to you on full payment and handover.
12. Admin panel and exporting your content
Admin panel access is provided at delivery and stays active while your hosting is current. If you cancel hosting, you can export your content (text, images, blog posts) through the admin panel while hosting is still active. When hosting ends, the site is taken offline. You keep ownership of exported content.
13. Your content and image rights
You confirm that you own, or hold a valid licence for, all images, logos, content and documents you provide. You agree to indemnify Capefield Ltd against third-party claims, losses, damages or costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from content you provided. If a copyright claim arises, we will work with you to remove the disputed content quickly, but we are not responsible for the underlying claim.
We refine and structure the content you provide. The accuracy of your business information — prices, addresses, services, claims, contact details and regulatory status — remains your responsibility. Please check all delivered content before going live.
14. Template legal pages
Template privacy, terms and cookie pages are provided with every Website as a convenience. You are responsible for making sure they are accurate, complete and suitable for your business, your data practices and your jurisdiction. We give no warranty that they are legally sufficient for your situation.
15. Support after delivery
After delivery, contact us through your dashboard or by email. We answer hosting-related support requests within 5 working days. Content changes you can make in the admin panel are yours to make.
16. What we don't provide
Unless included in your service description or intake form, we do not provide: domain purchase or management (except under the optional £60 / $75-a-year domain and email add-on, on its stated terms), custom email setup (except under that add-on), ongoing SEO or content marketing, or legal advice.
17. Acceptable use
Our services may not be used for illegal activity, content that breaks UK law, hate speech or harassment, fraud, infringing other people's rights, spam, or anything that compromises the security of our infrastructure. Breaches may lead to immediate suspension without refund.
18. Availability
We use reasonable efforts to keep hosted sites and apps available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Hosting problems reported through your dashboard are investigated and resolved during active hosting periods. We do not pay compensation for downtime.
19. Data processing on your behalf
Where we process personal data for you (for example, contact form messages or page-view counts from your site's visitors), we act as processor and you as controller. We process that data only on your documented instructions, apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, help you respond to data subject requests, and tell you promptly about any personal data breach. Our sub-processors are listed in the Privacy Policy. This clause is a data processing agreement under Article 28 of the UK GDPR.
20. Our liability
Subject to the next paragraph, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid for the project giving rise to the claim, including related hosting fees. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of business or profit.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under your statutory rights as a consumer.
21. Changes to these terms
We will tell existing clients about material changes (including to pricing, refunds, hosting obligations or scope) by dashboard message at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes do not affect a build you have already paid for. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the change.
22. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, any mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live remain unaffected.
23. Entire agreement
These terms, together with your intake form, any accepted quote, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between us and replace any earlier statements or proposals.
24. Questions and complaints
Please email support@capefieldacademy.com. We will do our best to put things right.
